Celestron FirstScope Accessory Kit



The Celestron FirstScope Accessory Kit is an extremely useful add on, and expands the capabilities of your FirstScope telescope to make it more enjoyable and easier to use, enhance your views of the night sky, and make it safer to transport wherever you go.

The accessory kit includes the 5x24 Finderscope complete with bracket, which makes it far easier to locate astronomical objects because of its much wider field of view and low magnification. It's easy to install as no tools are required.

Two eyepieces are supplied, the 12.5 mm increasing the power to 24x makeing it easier to find and observe objects that require more magnification, and the 6mm, increasing the power to 50x,boosting magnification up higher to see more detail of fainter objects.

A handy moonfilter reduces the brightness of the moon and improves contrast so that greater detail can be observed on the lunar surface. The filter has threads on it which screw into the bottom of the eyepieces.

The "The SkyX" CD-ROM is a full featured planetarium software capable of printing star charts, displaying beautiful astronomical photos, helps you to identify planets and stars, learn the constellations, and much more. Operating Systems: Windows XP and Vista, as well as MAC 10.4.8 and later.

And finally you can pack your FirstScope telescope and all accessories in the nylon carrying bag for easy and safe transportation.
