This is the most powerful binocular in the range with 12x magnification. If you have steady hands or wish to use the binoculars on a tripod or mount then this format will reveal detail that lower maginfication binoculars cannot.
For a steady image when using higher magnification a fixed stand is extremely helpful when observing at long distances, or when looking closely at a specific area.
The Leica tripod adapter allows the Leica Ultravid binoculars to be mounted comfortably and securely on all commercially-available tripod adapters. A rubber belt ensures the binoculars can be fixed rapidly to the flexible base plate of the tripod adapter.
